Reviewers frequently highlight the generous portions, flavorful recipes, and the freshness of the buffet options, especially the fried chicken, perogies, and farmer sausage. The restaurant is praised for providing a nostalgic dining experience that resonates with local heritage and family memories. Guests also note the reasonable pricing and friendly staff, though some mention that the service pace reflects its sit-down, home-cooked meal ambiance rather than a fast-food style. Overall, Triangle Oasis is recognized as a reliable choice for those seeking hearty, traditional Mennonite fare in a welcoming setting.
We had the pleasure of dining at Triangle Oasis and were especially excited to try their Mennonite buffet—and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The buffet was packed with delicious, home-style dishes that were both hot and fresh from start to finish. Every bite had that comforting, made-with-love flavor that’s hard to come by these days. From the perfectly crisp fried chicken to the tender farmer sausage and creamy mashed potatoes, it was a feast worth talking about. The atmosphere of the restaurant was warm, welcoming, and comfortable, making it an easy place to relax and enjoy a family meal. The decor and setup created a nice sense of community, and it really added to the overall experience. That said, the service was not as memorable—in the wrong way. Our waitress wasn't particularly friendly, and our drinks were very slow to come out. When they did, we discovered something a bit frustrating: we had been told drinks were included with the buffet, so the kids happily chose chocolate milk. Unfortunately, when the bill arrived, we learned that milk wasn’t actually part of the included drink selection, which wasn’t made clear at the time. Just a heads-up for fellow families—clarify what's included before ordering. All in all, Triangle Oasis is absolutely worth a visit for the buffet alone. The food was the star of the show, and if you're looking for that classic Mennonite comfort fare done right, this is the place. With a few improvements in service and communication, this spot could easily go from good to great. Still, I'd recommend giving it a try if you get the chance—just maybe stick with water or double-check the drink list first!
I’ve been going to this restaurant for years and will continue to do so. They have great food and lots of options for a very reasonable price. One of the few places that makes good Mennonite food.
Food was loaded with flavor. Big portions and very reasonable prices. Very friendly staff. It is not fast food place, so expect a little bit of a wait to be served your meal.
Good home cooked Mennonite food!Cottage cheese perogies cream gravy , farmer sausage etc. was delicious!
I don't eat here often but when I go it's great. My grandma, my dad's mom, use to be cook/baker here years ago; and from my mom's side of the family, my grandfather use to come here for coffee with his buddy's often. When my mom use to live far away, and would come to visit we always came here for their pierogies and smoanfat gravy, among other things. Thank you.
Came for the mexican buffet. Food was delicious but not very hot. Staff was around for refills. Cheap price for buffet at $17.25 The buffet area was a bit messy. The soup area had noodles around because the noodles were quite sticky. Not many desserts to choose from. The utensils looked mostly clean. Overall, I would eat here again.
Best buffet in town! And Tinas homemade taco soup is amazing. I have 3 bowls before i get started on food
